Julius Caesar
Famous lines from the play .which one do you like the most why ?
1 Cowards die many times before their deaths;
The valiant never taste of death but once.
2 Et tu, Brute? Then fall, Caesar!
3 This was the most unkindest cut of all.
Do you think pride and overconfidence has brought about the downfall of Julius Ceasar?
How else could it have been avoided ? Discuss
1 & 2 .........I like the most in this play

ReplyDeleteI don't think his pride n over confidence was the actual reason for his death....
ReplyDeletehe , being a great conquer, couldn't have stayed back just because of his wife's death......his decision for the banishment of publius would have had a reason.....n his death was not his mistake....he died a death of betrayal ...which does not suit a warrior like him.....
1st and 2nd are good. 1st one is exactly true. people who don't have guts cannot fight against the person by whom they have been defeated and each time they die and that is true fact.
ReplyDeleteI too don't think that his death was because of his over confidence or that sort.
the conspirators were very firm in their decisions that he should be assassinated for the goodness of Romans.
according to Caeser's destiny he had dead at that moment by them.
it could have been avoided if he had stayed at home (may be), but as a strong Warrior he could not do that.
